A. The SkillsTrac curriculum is being developed at all levels, and can be targeted toward your employees’ current skills base.
Q. How do I know what level of training my employees need?
A. Before your employees participate in SkillsTrac, assessments should be conducted to more clearly define the training needs of your employees in your specific environment.
Q. Can my employees receive college credit for the training?
A. Participants have the option to earn college credit for the training they receive. Academic standards must apply.
Q. How will I know whether my employees have actually learned something?

Q. What is the geographic area covered by the grant?
A. The grant target audience is comprised of the following counties: Auglaize, Darke, Greene, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby, Van Wert, and Warren.
Q. Can companies outside of these counties benefit from this grant?
A. To ensure that funds are available for the companies in the service areas of the education partners, organizations in counties other than those listed will be considered on a case-by-case basis only.
Q. What is the application process for the grant funds?
A. A formal application must be submitted, stating your training requirements (type of training, days, times, etc.) and expected outcomes. Details regarding follow-up will be included. The application itself is very simple and requires little effort to complete.
Q. Will I receive any funds to cover my expenses of paying workers as they attend training?
A. The grant funds will cover expenses such as materials, equipment, and trainer fees. Employees’ wages are the responsibility of the organization for which they work. However, because much of SkillsTrac training is conducted online, your employees can get the training they need when it’s convenient for them – nights, weekends – when they are not “on the clock” at work.
